What is Echi-Fend™?
Echi-Fend™ is a standardized formulation of Echinacea developed for horses. Echinacea has a long history of traditional herbal use. Your horse will enjoy Echi-Fend™ as a top dress feed supplement.
How is Echi-Fend™ used?
The suggested feeding rate of 10-20 mL per day is based upon a 500 kg (1100 lb) horse.
Should Echi-Fend™ be used Continuously?
In humans, Echinacea is recommended to be used in an “On-Off” cycle. It works in a similar way for horses.
Echi-Fend™ can be used safely for 4 weeks and then a period of interruption is suggested before the program repeated.
Do not use in pregnant mares. Do not use in horses with known hypersensitivity reactions. In case of anaphylaxis, administer epinephrine. Do not use in conjunction with other immunomodulating agents.
