A dietetic complementary feeding stuff for support of
kidney function in case of chronic renal insufficiency
in cats and dogs.
The ingredients in Ipakitine act as phosphate binding agents
and lower the absorption of phosphates from the intestines. Phosphate
reduction is key to supporting failing kidneys. There is also a
reduction in the absorption of some uraemic toxins that can
affect normal kidney function. (Wagner et coll. 2004)
Contains Chitosan, lactose, calcium carbonate and
hydrolysed soy protein.
Dose: 1gm (=1 dosing spoon)per 5kg bodyweight, twice daily.
Chitosan is an highly palatable, all-natural completely no-toxic product.
