Properties and Effects
Respimin is a feed supplement used for the support of
various metabolic functions of the respiratory tract in
horses. Stress factors such as cold, wet, fog and dust
can disturb and upset normal respiratory functions. It
has been shown that metabolic functions of equines prone
to respiratory affections quickly improve significantly
if the animals are kept on islands of the North Sea or
high altitude pastures. Respimin provides important
nutritional elements found in plants growing on high
altitude pastures or islands of the North Sea that will
help support respiratory condition and the animals’
normal defences. It is successfully used for maintaining
general metabolic support and as a feed supplement
especially during climate changes (e.g. autumn/winter or
winter/spring). Conserving and stabilising bioactive
functions is more successful if normal metabolic
functions are maintained at an early stage.
