Previcox® chewable tablets contain a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and are used to reduce pain and inflammation in dogs.
Previcox® chewable tablets can be used for arthritis, and to reduce post-operative pain and inflammation following soft tissue, orthopaedic (e.g. fracture repair) and dental surgery in dogs.
Previcox is most commonly used to treat the pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis. The pain relief can, in turn, aid movement in dogs that have severe joint inflammation and stiffness. Previcox can also be used for post-operative pain.
Previcox® chewable tablets are available in two strengths:
• 57 mg
• 227 mg
Previcox® chewable tablets can be given with or without food. Full instructions for using Previcox for dogs are included with this product. The recommended application should not be exceeded. Please follow your vets instructions.
If you need to split the tablets and issue half applications, the remaining half tablet needs to be kept in the original packaging and can only be kept for seven days.
Warning:
Previcox cannot be used in pregnant or lactating bitches. The medication can also not be used in animals less than ten weeks of age or less than 3kg of body weight.
