Banacep® 5mg Tablets are a Prescription Only Medicine – Veterinary (POM-V) containing benazepril hydrochloride, a trusted angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor widely used to treat congestive heart failure (CHF) in dogs and chronic kidney disease (CKD) in cats.

By reducing the activity of the ACE enzyme, Banacep helps relax blood vessels, improving circulation and reducing blood pressure. This not only eases the workload of the heart but also helps protect kidney function, reducing protein loss in the urine.

The 5mg strength is designed for cats and small to medium-sized dogs, allowing accurate weight-based dosing and long-term management of cardiac or renal conditions.

Indications:
