Metrovis® Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V) containing metronidazole, a well-established antimicrobial and antiprotozoal agent used in both dogs and cats. Widely prescribed by veterinarians, Metrovis is effective in treating a range of bacterial and protozoal infections, particularly those involving the gastrointestinal tract, oral cavity, skin, and reproductive system.

Available in three strengths — 100mg, 250mg, and 750mg — Metrovis provides flexible dosing for pets of all sizes, from cats and small dogs to giant breeds.

Active Ingredient:

• Metronidazole – an antimicrobial and antiprotozoal agent with strong activity against anaerobic bacteria and certain protozoa.

Indications:

• Treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by susceptible organisms

• Management of oral and dental infections (e.g., periodontal disease)

• Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections involving anaerobic bacteria

• Control of protozoal infections such as Giardia in dogs and cats

Dosage & Administration:
