What Are Vetmedin Capsules For?
When used in cases of valvular insufficiency in conjunction with furosemide, the Vetmedin capsules (5mg) have been shown to improve the quality of life and extend life expectancy in treated dogs.
When used in a limited number of cases of dilated cardiomyopathy in conjunction with furosemide, enalapril and digoxin, Vetmedin capsules have been shown to improve the quality of life and to extend life expectancy in treated dogs.
Dosage for Vetmedin Capsules 5mg
Vetmedin should be given orally on an empty stomach or an hour before food. Please follow veterinary advice, as dosage is calculated based on body weight.
