Active Ingredient:

• Trilostane – A competitive inhibitor of the enzyme 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase, which plays a key role in the synthesis of cortisol. By limiting cortisol production, trilostane helps control the symptoms and long-term effects of Cushing’s disease.

• Treatment of pituitary-dependent hyperadrenocorticism (PDH)

How Vetoryl Works:

Cushing’s syndrome results from an overproduction of cortisol by the adrenal glands, either due to a benign pituitary tumour (most common) or an adrenal tumour. Vetoryl inhibits cortisol production, preventing excessive hormone levels and easing the strain on a dog’s metabolism and organs.

Ongoing treatment requires regular monitoring through veterinary check-ups and blood tests to ensure optimal control and to adjust dosing if needed.

Directions for Use:

• Give orally once daily with food, preferably in the morning

• Dose is determined by the vet based on your dog’s weight and blood test results

• Never alter the dose without veterinary guidance

• Tablets should be swallowed whole — do not crush or split unless instructed
